Topic: Supporting the economic inclusion of refugees

This committee will be participating in the MUN Refugee Challenge, supporting the UNHCR. Delegates will have the incredible opportunity to have their ideas read by members of the actual UNHCR. 

 

Since the committee is taking part in the challenge, a delegate will be serving as a representative of the UNHCR. The role of this delegate will be opening the floor by giving an introduction to the topic and specifying what the UNHCR expects. This delegate will be well versed in the facts and past measures of the UNHCR relating to the topic to help guide the committee in finding a solution to the complex topic at hand. Most importantly, the representative will have veto power, but will need to backup any veto with previous rulings of the UNHCR.
